Since OP was too lazy to take the 5 seconds to crop:

[-] wheeldawg@sh.itjust.works -4 points 2 years ago

Except the AI is trained. Not the art.

Anyone still on Shitter is just asking for whatever they get at this point.

why do you not want people to use the shitter mastodon client? (/j but it's really called shitter)

for some reason, @calyxjabberserv is on there so i have to use a throwaway account for a 3rd party app.

[-] frayedpickles@lemmy.cafe 49 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

What the fuck is this post, though? You take a full screenshot of your desktop to share a 3rd party post from ruff1298? Are we sure ruff is even in the loop?

[-] Nougat@fedia.io 38 points 2 years ago

Is it the one where all the text is too small to read?

[-] zoostation@lemmy.world 34 points 2 years ago

If you're still on there then fuck you anyway.

[-] Skyrmir@lemmy.world 32 points 2 years ago

If he's using AI scraping, we should set up bots that invent other Trump family members as orangutans. Also label all cat and dog photos as the opposite. All insect pictures labeled as republican or conservative.

[-] hungryphrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone 16 points 2 years ago

That's offensive to orangutans and insects. They are amazing and useful creatures, unlike conservatives.

[-] painfulasterisk1@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 years ago

I agree,.they should just mislabel them, for example train the AI to label Marjorie Taylor Greene as Ted Cruz, and so on.

[-] hungryphrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 years ago

Or they could be correctly labeled, but with a twist. Like for example, posting a ton of pics of Trumpet with a Hitler mustache.

[-] stackPeek@lemmy.world 25 points 2 years ago

At least crop the screenshot, smh

[-] cybervseas@lemmy.world 15 points 2 years ago

Property of Twitter? Does Section 230 still apply then?

[-] thawed_caveman@lemmy.world 14 points 2 years ago

Brother you're on desktop, you could have cropped

[-] zarkanian@sh.itjust.works 10 points 2 years ago

Yeah, this is just hearsay. Unfortunately, a lot of people will believe this without evidence because they hate Elon so much. (Which he deserves, to be fair.)

[-] Zorsith@lemmy.blahaj.zone 9 points 2 years ago

I wonder how long it will take for all the NSFW artists to leave now?

[-] Lemmchen@feddit.org 7 points 2 years ago

Your screenshot is mildly infuriating. Where's the first-party source? Where's the crop?

KDE Plasma? The top panel layout is very slick

[-] ColdWater@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 years ago
[-] Peasley@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

What are you using to get the window buttons in the panel?

[-] ColdWater@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago

Application title bar widget

Bluesky is an alternative to the platform formally known as Twitter. It's created by former Twitter developers and former Twitter CEO. If you're looking for an alternative that currently doesn't sell your data, this is a good place to go.

Edit: I'll be honest, not sure why I got down voted are we not supposed to support Bluesky or other platforms on here? I'll stop if that is the case

[-] wizardbeard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 2 years ago

Most people on Lemmy prefer Mastodon, as it's not run by a corporation, and is federated like Lemmy. It's also built off the same underlying protocol, meaning it's interoperable with lemmy.

[-] zarkanian@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 years ago

Yeah, I have to wonder why they created their own protocol when ActivityPub is right there.

[-] slackassassin@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 years ago

Don't stop, people are just dicks.

[-] Twitches@lemm.ee 2 points 2 years ago

Thanks, man.

[-] naticus@lemmy.world 0 points 2 years ago

I'm about 80% sure the point of the reply was that you didn't use a comma. "Bluesky people" vs "Bluesky, people" means two different things.

[-] zarkanian@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 years ago

Bluesky people

don't know how to take a proper screenshot?
