Props to these guys. They tried something. Everyone hated it and they did the right thing. It's increasingly rare. Back to Civ I guess.

They tried something that they already knew people hated. Launchers have been the bane of gamers for decades already.

I don't disagree, I'm just grateful at least one of them is dead. Who knows, maybe one day they'll stop with the pointless bloody accounts too. Glares at Sony

It's particularly nice for the Deck, since launchers often break things that otherwise work great with Proton.

Damn it, talk about timing. I just a finished Bioshock Infinite on Steam yesterday. I mean, you can entirely disable the launcher with a single launch command in the Steam properties page but still…
