These stories are always wild to me. Who keeps giving unrestricted access for their credit card to children?

Yeah that's the first thing I always think when I see stuff like this. Also do other people not obsessively check their bank account balances? Haha

@NotSteve_ This is what I was thinking. Even not obsessively checking though. She didn’t check it once in four months?

Financial literacy is a huge issue in consumer spending across the globe. Even in world-leading economies, the layperson often doesn't understand basics like sustainably leveraging credit/debt.

the girl said she didn't understand much about money

  1. Shes 13 years old. She should know by now
  2. She knew to hide the transaction history from her parents
  3. She knew she shouldn't give money to her classmates

Yeah, make it so that either

  • I pay to buy the game and I have fully access to everything it offers
  • I pay to buy the game and pay a monthly subscription fee and nothing else

A game which you can pay to buy gems which speeds up your fucking castle's build time is moronic and shouldn't exist at all

And she will forever be satisfied with all her purchases and never desire anything else.
