Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

I, for one, welcome this new definition of Traditional American Family Values!

[–] krayj@sh.itjust.works 33 points 1 year ago

psyche! Those are the rules for me, not the rules for thee.

[–] MorgoFett@lemmy.world 21 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Agreed. Dating a pro drag queen democrat and PDAs. Maybe she’s turning a new leaf?

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Wait, who's the guy she's dating?

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 21 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Holy crap, that's going to go over great with her supporters. Vote for me and I'll jack off democrats in public!

[–] ElBarto@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 year ago

Can't wait for her next town hall meeting.

[–] Ghyste@sh.itjust.works 63 points 1 year ago

She's far too stupid to experience shame.

Boebert’s boyfriend can be seen groping the congresswoman’s breasts. Boebert takes his hand and pulls it closer to her breasts as she turns to speak into his ear. The Republican congresswoman then puts her hands on her date’s crotch and appears to rub his penis.

Boebert and the Republican Party have frequently touted that they represent “traditional family values.”

[–] Ubermeisters@lemmy.zip 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yeah you know traditional like back in the Old Testament

[–] mycatiskai@lemmy.one 4 points 1 year ago

Well traditionally you would have to get a tug job in the theater while watching a play because you couldn't get a movie theater blowjob before movies existed.

[–] Cruxifux@lemmy.world 44 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Lol wtf

These people make laws in the greatest military power the world has ever seen.

America, get your shit together. You’re an embarrassment.

[–] TwoGems@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

If we'd actually bother to use the 14th amendment on them we could get rid of them maybe

[–] jerkface@lemmy.ca 32 points 1 year ago

I have never seen any indication that Boebert has experienced a moment of shame in her life. She's pathological.

[–] YoBuckStopsHere@lemmy.world 23 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Totally pulling a Pee Wee Herman and jacking it in the theater.

[–] evidences@lemmy.world 38 points 1 year ago

I mean the dude was jacking it in a porn theater, at least Paul Rubens was in the appropriate theater for his actions.

[–] krayj@sh.itjust.works 21 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Can't wait to hear how her supporters choose to defend this (and her other behavior at this event). I'm sure they've already internally justified it to themselves.

Grandkid needs another Aunt orUncle!

[–] Ubermeisters@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 year ago

They just won't hear about it

[–] SeaJ@lemm.ee 17 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Her loud singing must have sounded an awful lot like moaning.

[–] wheeldawg@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 year ago

You mean her moaning must have sounded enough like singing to make a more polite headline.

There is zero actual evidence she was a call girl. She is a piece of shit but let's not spread misogynistic garbage.

Really adds credibility to the claims that she used to be an escort.

[–] GiddyGap@lemm.ee 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The evangelicals in Woodland Park must be real proud of her.

I'm confused about the dude, supposedly a Democrat, who runs a lgbt+ bar.... How

[–] bufordt@sh.itjust.works 10 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Don't confuse someone making money off of progressives to be someone supporting progressive policies.

[–] LetterboxPancake@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

She just wanted to juice his beetle.

[–] jasondj@ttrpg.network 4 points 1 year ago

Honestly though the sexual undertones in Beetlejuice are laid on pretty thick.
