7. No duplicate posts.


If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.


8. Misinformation is prohibited.


Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.


9. No link shorteners.


The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.


10. Don't copy entire article in your post body


For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

Hmm, why is Romania's election rigged, but the U.S. election was "the most safe and secure election ever"? There were bomb threats (but only in swing states), gerrymandering, voter suppression, voter rolls perged, and so much propaganda I can't even count... but yeah, it was a safe and secure election.

IDK if I would call any of the two elections you mentioned "rigged" as I feel people think of that word to mean direct fraud (votes changed for instance). That being said, seemingly both elections were influenced by Russian mis and disinformation campaigns which puts into question what the response should be. This are not honest elections and, thankfully for Romania, they are able to and seemingly are doing something about this campaign of influence. For the US, which I'm assuming was heavily influenced by Social Media during this last election, nothing should be done, except to make some changes moving forward.

Europeans saw it with Brexit then Trump as well

And also the far right parties all across Europe gaining in elections
