MODERATORS
Love me some borderlands, hopefully enemies and missions are interesting like borderlands 2. Vault Hunters don't look that cool compared to other characters in the trailer. Hopefully they keep what works and don't do some stupid stuff like not release on steam or add denuvo or whatever else.
Saw the cutscene at the beginning and thought, oh, they ditched the ugly cel shaded art style, about time! Turns out I was wrong.
I found a mod for BL2, which turned off that shading. Looks way better imo. It's just too overdone.
While I hope they don’t go TOO serious BL3’s tired ass humor kept me from making it off the first planet. Hopefully I got the wrong impression because as long as they dial the cheese down that could be a day one buy for me.
The game definitely has its “the devs were overworked and underpaid and as a result this comes off as soul-less” and “genuinely what the fuck were they thinking” parts— which, is unfortunately more than the parts you can see were made with love— but i’d say it’s definitely worth playing through at least once. The Handsome Jackpot DLC is a great example of them putting their everything into it, but most of the other DLCs are, uh… Not too great in that regard.
