One woman said at least her paycheck got bigger under him. So who cares about everyone else if she got a small bump in pay.

In elections, the economy is the base of the pyramid. Other things like trans rights or genocide of other people in another country are at the top of the triangle. Something you can sway voters with only if they feel the rest of the pyramid is stable for then. It would be nice if people as a whole could take a longer view of things, but we're just advanced animals in the end

There's no reason to believe Trump will be good for the economy, so I think it's less "the economy, stupid" and more "the stupid"

Donald Trainwreck is literally the only president to lose jobs. He lost an average 56k American jobs per month in office and finished with a job approval of 29%. Imagine how stupid you would have to be to be that disconnected from reality that you literally forgot everything Donald Trainwreck did in office.
