Elevation gives a bonus to energy production. As long as they can defend it from Mindworm attacks.

I know there is a reference in there I am not getting. But the cold will also give it greater efficiency.

What does this do to the ice? I know that solar panels increase the albedo so that would suggest that te panels might result in less ice. However, the ice that is already there, is now in shade so you might expect an increase in accumulation and a decrease in sublimation
