What a ride this season of Blue Lock has been. I am not watching the show, but watching it ride up and down the rankings has been fun at least. Given the sentiments I saw about the show earlier this season, it is pretty crazy to me that it managed to somehow turn it around and unseat Bleach from AC's #1.

Honestly with how hype the last few episodes have been I can see how it got to number 1

I'm not surprised to see Bleach TYBW hanging around the top of the list. (Full disclosure this is the first time I've seen the list lol)

It may not be for everyone but it was enough to get me interested in the series again after not really following it for a while. I've been excitedly waiting for the new episodes to release each week and I'm already bracing for the letdown when it's gone.

The change from being a weekly show to a more highly-produced seasonal show seems to have really paid off for them. I am glad it is giving fans of the series a conclusion that they can be happy with.

The extra time spent really shines in the animation. These episodes are just fun to watch no matter what's happening on screen. There's a lot of subtle details and nuance to the way things are done that simply didn't exist in the older stuff, arguably even the movies. For the first time in a long time I'm rewatching episodes multiple times because I've missed things while reading subtitles or something.

I don't want to over sell it, they haven't reinvented the wheel or something, but for this series it's gold IMO.

Yakuza Fiancé being 21st and How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer being 34th is criminal.

Anime Corner has spoken. Story > Visuals

Personally, I'm like "why not both?"
