I could not for the life of me find a decent rhyme to "Hylian", and someone else already made a meme for "Link in the Sink" so that's what you get =P
Maybe a stupid question, but is Link actually an elf? The pointed ears aren't lost on me, but all these years it never actually occurred to me that whayever species he is, it may be elf.
Strictly speaking, Hylians are their own race and just happen to look like what we would consider elves. ;)
The humanoid, pointy-eared people in Hyrule are Sheikah, Gerudo and Hylians. The umbrella term for all people living in Hyrule (including Gorons, Zoras etc.) is actually "Hyruelans" but barely anyone uses that term. It appears in some item descriptions in-game tho. Example:
Knight's Shield - A shield favored by the knights who served the Hyrulean royal family.
He's a Hylian just bein'.
Face him away from the camera against a tree and he's a Hylian a-peein' (or a-weein').

It is okay to post about merchandise, but links to those "design your own merch" sites will be removed, as those are almost always scams featuring stolen art. Affliate links will be removed as well. This isn't Etsy.
5. Provide Sources
If you're going to post art, comics, guides, screenshots etc. that are not your own OC, please mention the name of the original creator and ideally also a link to their portfolio/website. (Pinterest is almost never the original source)
