MODERATORS
Way too many #4 on Lemmy. The video title is not a conversation starter.
Same with posts like "I f'ing love this game" with just a random screenshot and no mention of the title or what makes it fun.
Every Lemmy community should add this to their rules.
And you get a temporary ban if violate the rules. The length of the ban in days is the same as the relevant number in that list. Repeat offenders switch from days to weeks.
Coworker just hit me with a #3 and I'm livid.
I know right? It's just a total waste of everyone's time.

The title of the video should be the summary, unless whatever you're sharing it with removes the little preview card and just sends a hyperlink
If I'm linking a video it's for the purpose of suggesting the person watch the video. I'm not going to put work in that's already been done because they're too lazy to watch something
