In 2018, Australia set a series of national targets around the recovery of packaging and this year is the deadline. But figures show we're behind on almost all of them.

Our laziness is good for the environment. We just use gift bags and they get used over and over

I do one better and just don’t bother wrapping.

The only way I could be lazier than that is to not bother with gifts at all.

Considering my family members fascination with shopping centres, I may just get them some pre-paid Debit Cards next year…
