I mean...if the country is considering a tool to promote damage and hate, why would you van yourself from using it? It won't magically vanish tomorrow so it only makes sense to leave a literal loophole for the government to be legally allowed to use it to continue to monitor the CCP in all forms instead of doing it illegally.

This isn't like Biden wants to be the only one to use it...it's literally for national security reasons. What a dumb article/title, use common sense.
