Taking My Reincarnation One Step at a Time: No One Told Me There Would Be Monsters! Volume 7 - Very weak volume. The 6 volume spanning romance sub-plot comes to a conclusion and is played off as were it nothing. Literally spent more time on discussing the color of insects than the engagement of two main characters.
A Livid Lady’s Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires Volume 4 - The volume addresses a gripe I had with the plot so far, namely MC happily orchestrating the mass murder of civilians while on the other hand being someone lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Those two sides of MC didn't really fit together, but it seems to become a plot point going forward. Right now I'm still not convinced for the reasons given, but since the narrative seems to be aware of that, I'm looking forward to having this dichotomy resolved at some point.
Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden Volume 5 - This time there is about a 50/50 split between magivision and adventuring. I wouldn't mind this shift even further towards magivision. But the reason for all the adventuring is over so I have high hopes for the next volume.
