You can deactivate your Facebook account, it keeps messenger ONLY still active. A great step while you encourage them to try a different app.

Of course it can't work right away for everyone. But it's a conversation you can have, explain your concerns, why it would be better to move on to a different software.

Yeah, no. There are no 'accusations of partisanship', there's straight up blatant partisanship and overt attempts at shaping the narrative and suppressing speech that Der Furher won't like. Put everything "good" under "sensitive content" so kids and people who don't know better leave that stuff hidden because when blatant racism, bigotry, and fascism doesn't fall under "sensitive content" people will assume that shit is really really fucked up and and keep it hidden.
