I continue to add data to these. Have I gone too far? Added the theater counts and how many theaters that movie gained/lost that week.

Its my first time seeing them and it doesnt look like too much to me.

Ok great! Thank you for your feedback! 🙂

If you were looking to add data, and certainly it's already appreciated as-is, budget is always relevant. I assume production budget at least is usually not too terribly hard to find.

I agree! I've definitely thought about adding those. Lately there's been a lot of conflicting info about budgets, but I suppose I could always add ranges, like $150-200M, like Wikipedia does, if there are multiple legitimate sources for budgets.

Yeah, estimated range would be the way to go. Might also want to add a "Not including marketing costs" disclaimer at the bottom.

I love it. Thank you for the effort!

Big oof for the expendables. Thats gotta be bad right? Being beaten by The Nun on its 3rd week.

[–] ClarkZuckerberg@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

Oh yeah it’s awful

Given that the budget is estimated to be somewhere between $100m-$200m, not counting marketing, yeah, that is a massive oof.

Still bummed about Blue Beetle doing so poorly. I loved the movie.

Feels like BB is a victim of WBD's broader lack of strategy with the DCEU. At this point audiences either don't care because they know the whole franchise is getting rebooted soon, or they don't care because they're just not that interested in anything that isn't Marvel (and even with Marvel, audiences are becoming noticeably more selective).
