I'm sure I'm forgetting some scenes but I would say it's less "gore" aka medical stuff than Grey's Anatomy.

I'm a long time ER fan, have watched a couple other medical dramas (not Greys) but this is the best since ER. John Wells nails the atmosphere of busy emergency department once again, the characters are interesting enough and the format gives the patient stories time to develop, sometimes maybe too much. The braindead boy was there maybe an episode too long, otherwise the show moves in good pace. It's going to be interesting to see how the second season goes, how they write character development into the show when everything happens in such a limited amount of time.
