Panama should make sure that there are an ample amount of explosives placed throughout the canal, and convey in clear terms to Trump that these will be triggered if the U.S makes any move that threatens their sovereignty.
All they have to do is open all the lock doors at once.
What will that do?
It'll drain the reservoir in the middle and make the whole canal useless until it refills

Throughout the Trump rolling disaster, there has always been some adult in the room will tell him no. That was true during his first term. It’s no longer true.
