Do any F1 journalists use Mastodon?
Not that I could find. At least not the prominent ones. I just follow the twitter mirror bots for a couple of them. Not ideal but luckily still seem to be working after twitters changes today.

tl;dr: Magnussen didn't have to move much, and his lap time was deleted anyway for track limits.
