The missing Vichy period is sus.

If we're talking about Paris, it wasn't part of Vichy France, but was directly occupied by Germany.

Is there a hi-res version of this somewhere?

There's the book: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23282027-750-years-in-paris

Not sure if it qualifies, but might help with finding.

I feel like key parts of history happened between 1889 & 1968.

This is very interesting. Would love to see versions of different cities.

Detroit would be a bit of a journey:

Empty - Small Shack - Huge Skyscraper - Dilapidated Ruin - Empty.

Did the government in 1855 enforce that everyone combine their buildings and have the same facade?

Good eye!

I don't see an umbrella, though; she might just be jumping to her death.

It could be a reference to 1572. The so called St Barthelemy Massacre.

Mildly Interesting

This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.
