How do you get a monitor with broken EDID in Wayland to work? (feddit.de)

Hello,

my secondary monitor has a borked EDID. Currently in X11 i use a xrandr bash script on login to set it up.

I tinkered around a bit with wlr-randr in sway (and also gnome-randr in gnome) but i could not get it to work.

I had a monitor with broken EDID once. You can download its EDID, correct it and use the corrected one in place of the one offered by the monitor.

Figure out how it is incorrect and fix it. Google is your friend.
