It's "good" for Dallas because that trade would be god awful if he left for nothing. The fit and the loss of depth are still aspects left uncertain.

Agred. I don't see how the fit between Luka and Kyrie and then there's the depth of this squad.

It is leaning that way, but I'm willing to give some benefit of the doubt to the small sample size.

This contract and trade could definitely go down as one that really hurts Luka and the Mavs if it does not improve into this season and beyond.

Kyrie really wanted more, but that's not bad for both parties. I hope Ky can just play ball and help Luka, but I doubt it.

Is this a max deal? I suppose anything less than that is probably good for the mavs even though it seems like there wasn't much competition in keeping in.

Not a max, could've been 4 years. Plus with third year being a player option, gives some flexibility.
