I have one and as long as it doesn't dry out they're very easy to take care of. Will yellow if dry but it does bounce back.
Thank you! Mine has a few hours of direct morning light and bright light the rest of the day. Around 50-60% humidity. There's a fair amount of perlite in the mix and I water every 3ish days with a little houseplant feed to keep the soil moist. We've just had a few weeks of really hot weather in the UK and it's loved it with loads of new growth.
Ferns are my enemy 🥲
I love my asparagus fern! And I love yours almost as much :D
So beautiful! I love ferns but am so scared to get them.
Go for it! I'd recommend anything in the asparagus genus. As long as you keep them moist and don't let them sit in direct sunlight all day they'll be happy!
Ooh I used to have one of these - I loved the feel of the fronds. They look great in a terrarium, kinda like massive fur trees in a tiny green world!
That's a beauty!
Love this particular asparagus. So feathery and fluffy. Also, just so people know this is not actually a fern but relates to the asparagus we eat!
Oh no! I really like it, searched it, and found out that it's a restricted plant in my country. I guess context is everything.
