You'd think Israeli officials would at least word this differently, and I don't think they aren't smart enough to know what they are saying. This leaves as the only explanation that they really don't care and don't expect any consequences anyways, no matter what they do.
Once a bit more of our geriatric politicians age out / croak (can’t happen fast enough), they’ll be held accountable. Young people see what’s going on.
I lived in a similiar belief about my country politics, and now I know there's no easier thing than to indoctrinate children.
