Allies would've made an interesting place if the Cold War hadn't followed. Denazification was never really completed, demilitarisation occured on paper only for 10 years. Democratisation: Depends on your political coleur. Decentralisation... well, the Bundesländer still exist politically, but large corporations are powerful.
