I saw Komoot was acquired by Bending Spoons. Has everybody been already laid off?
Yes, they laid off about three quarter of the staff, previously 150 people.
As was expected after an acquisition. The CEO is probably happy with his golden parachute.
He destroyed the company he built for years in exchange for money :(
He's rich now though, so he probably doesn't care.

I've switched to OpenTracks, and short of the (imo) needless social media functions, it's great!
