Delphox with the Mightiest Mark is coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet black crystal Tera Raid Battles! You can try putting a stop to Delphox’s Mystical Fire from Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. to Sunday, July 9, 2023, at 4:59 p.m. PDT, then again from Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. to Sunday, July 16, 2023, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. Delphox cannot normally be encountered in Paldea, and the Delphox appearing during this event has Fairy as its Tera Type. Be prepared—this Pokémon is a formidable foe, and it’s got the Mightiest Mark to prove it!

What is the strategy for this one? Any suggestions?

Possibly Heatran given its ability Flash Fire? Maybe a tera type of steel.

some article recommended a steel-tera coalossal with flash fire holding a choice band, and also a steel-tera Bronzong with heatproof ability and holding a lagging tail. seems like steel tera with some ability to negate fire is the way to go

Yeah, I think you're right. I just completed the raid with a steel tera heatran. Be prepared though. I got hit with a lot of psychic moves. They aren't effective but I didn't get many fire type attacks against me

What strategies is everyone running??? Cos I don’t want to join a random raid and get the team butchered.

I'm also wondering that. I've seen Heatran mentioned as an option. Any other suggestions?

I’ve seen Heatran been thrown about quite a bit. @Myr mentioned steel Tera Coalossal or Bronzong would work (make sure they have flash fire/heatproof)

I can confirm I just won the raid with a steel tera heatran

Same here. Went into a random raid, took 2 heatrans, an armorouge and a cerulidge.

Has anyone noticed their Delphox is female, or is it just me???

Still need to come up with a strategy. It has fire type attacks and psychic attacks so using steel or poison Pokemon as counters wouldnt work.

Its ability and Magic room also makes items unreliable.

Add in calm mind to boost its special attack WWF would also need a special defensive Pokémon

Okay so I think a good Pokémon to use is Ceruledge. It has bitter blade to have reliable recovery, it learns taunt to stop Delephox from boosting its stats up, gets Iron Head and Poison Jab super effective moves. It also has the Ability Flash Fire.
