I had a feeling a % of asset store sales was on the cards.
Still, good to see the engine is healthy and moving forward.
If it's not too high, I think that's ok, running an asset store is probably even more work than I think it is.

I usually use Cryptpad.
Nextcloud has a poll-addon that (afaik) doesn't have all the bells and whistles Google has but it seemed super descent every time I've come across it.
I have reservations about Government funding. I am reminded of how OpenBSD lost DARPA funding because Theo had the audacity to say the truth about what DARPA really does with its grant money.
Take the money, if they shut it off, they shut it off.
Diverse income streams makes it all more resilient
as long as the project keeps it as a "nice to have" and not as a cornerstone of project financials, it should be fine
