Overall, my pessimism is growing enthusiastically this week.

I got my bike back from the repair shop. It drives now like its new. I am really happy about that and want to get back on it any free minute I have. :)

I’m off from work this week, and my son does not have football stuff, so we’ve been hanging out. But he went to go stay with his mom for a few days yesterday, and now I’m alone. I’ll try to be productive but I think there’s a high likelihood that I do absolutely nothing until Sunday evening. I’m tempted to go back to hookup apps, but I’m over it.

I showered today, so at least there’s that.

I got a surprise rank promotion in the martial art I do. I learned about it via an organizational email. Past a certain point promotions are for contributions to the community and don't require an actual test; I didn't think I was doing anything that special, but looking back I can see some of the things that I've been doing to help out.

It's Thursday and I was asked to go to a 3 day businesstrip next week to meet with a potential new customer,, to start in a new project if possible in overtime, to take over the old project from the guy who went on paternal leave, to finish some company wide process description and to keep doing my normal job too.

So yeah, let's say it's not going great.

Spent dying of heat and studying for exams, with a healthy amount of diving around in a dumpster until they find me. But they are dumb and only see movement, so every time I hear them i crawl up into a fetal position and hide under 15 mcdonalds wrappers. All to keep my treasures safe. That is to say, wall-e has given me a mission to build a working pc out of shit i found on the street, ive found my motherboard, cpu, gpu and hard disk. Still missing ram and a psu.

Bad case of food poisoning. Had to drive back from work cursing the traffic. Extremely suspicious of that mayo tuna sandwich at lunch.

A man is hitting on me. I'm 50 and it's the first time I've considered this in 27 years. I feel very rusty.

Had an awesome weekend! Spent all Saturday sewing an apron for my mom and all Sunday tinkering with my Laravel/React Project and finally deploying it to AWS!

Temperature dropped by 15C, finally could sleep well- great start!!!
