It took me a really long time to follow that the point they're making is about guys saying women mature faster as justification for lusting after people too young for them like creeps
I don't know that I've ever heard "women mature faster" but creeps come up with all kinds of justifications for their grossness 🤷♂️
Girls are outpacing boys in school in most countries around the world but this advantage for women goes away in the workforce.
That says a lot
I'd have more confidence as to the loudness of the statement if our schools made any sense
But also the thing being said is pretty obvious and said elsewhere at deafening volumes, so i don't entirely doubt it's true.
And to justfy all the housework and childcare women often have to do alone.
There's no easier way to groom someone than to make them feel special and important. And it's sad because kids should feel special and important. Just not because Uncle Touchy-fingers is feeding them bullshit.

They have to, it’s a survival necessity. They have to work twice as hard to even get some of the recognition their male peers do, plus having to be constantly alert for creeps, weirdos, manipulators etc.
My thought is that they achieve wisdom earlier as well and they know enough to stay away from all of that fake money/power bullshit.
After 43 years of life I have come to the conclusion that gender hardly matters because all humans are idiots in their very own way.
Having said that, I'd say the portion of uncaring toxic people in leadership positions is insanely high and I would be interested to know the ratio of attitude within each gender group filtered by upper management roles. Like: is the problem gender or is the problem that toxic pushy people push to higher positions better because society rewards assholes more than empathic people.
