First time visited psychologist today. I was telling story by book pictures, teaching an alien to brush teeth and making up story from toys. That was fun.

MODERATORS
I was seriously concerned about my ability to do this hike, especially while carrying way too much stuff, and with younger and fitter friends, but then I remembered I literally do not know how to stop. So I used that for recreation instead of work and I survived. Just need to hike back out tomorrow.
What stuff you had to carry?
We are camping! And carrying way too much but honestly the 3 person tent is worth it.
That's my partner and his pack, mine is similar.
that place looks beautiful and it's a very long hike back. maybe suggest to your partner that you just live there now.
That looks peaceful.
It is, mostly. It's much closer to an RV park than the hike distance would have you believe. We assume that's where the firework noises were coming from yesterday.
Think I've now recovered from doing a human thing Friday. Friend i only see every few years was in town for a night, so it was a social human thing i actually really enjoyed and made recovery easier. Unfortunately a mutual friend is determined this out of state friend and i get together, and keeps trying to get us to hookup at the bar. While knowing i don't enjoy drunken hookups AND have stopped drinking entirely since the last time she tried this scheme. So now i get to have the "life isn't a 90s rom-com" discussion and it's gonna feel a little like telling a 6yr old santa isn't real.
