Hey, so when moving through the main menu, I get all kind of weird artifacts and flickering. It almost looks like its randomly displaying textures and image files from the game? Too fast to get a screenshot of it. For a second, I swear it had overlaid the sprite-sheet for the needle rather than the arrows for the menu selection. Doesn't happen anywhere else in game, only the main menu.

I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this? Is it unique to running the game through proton?

Had a glitch that turned every menu button into opening up the "Start New Game?" or something dialog

I have this same problem. proton, nvidia card, fedora. haven't tried native, bc native versions of every game have all been terrible so far.

Strange - haven't gotten any issues myself. Kubuntu 25.04 here

Why are you running it through proton? I tried both native and proton and no glitches for me, but it might be depending on GPU and all sorts of other things.

I'm not experiencing OP's issues but I do notice that running natively makes cutscenes play at slower fps, which also desyncs with the audio. Cutscenes work perfectly fine when running it through proton, so that's at least a reason for me to use proton.

huh, I just assumed it was going through proton. Probably native, then. When I looked at the store page before release, I swear it only said windows.

Running it without issue on Pop_os mostly out of thebox, no major changes.

I haven't encountered that running the GOG Windows version through Lutris.
