I really think that's part of the form. I've hung around art assholes long enough to hear how "the brush strokes really show the time period" and "you can tell how intense the scene is because the photographer couldn't adjust the f-stop in time" to realize that memes are art and little shit like the UI is just part of it.
It is better for having the UI at the top, IMO.

You can find a video from about 4m away from Kirk as he was shot. It's quite violent so you have been warned. If you're into it, go for it. If you're squeamish at all: stay away.
Search "NSFL charlie Kirk" in a search engine. Found it pretty easily. Not linking it cuz i don't know rules about it in this sub.
I've seen far worse from warzones and stuff. I can't find this video anywhere. Plenty where everything is blurred out, but nothing else. If you don't mind, could you pm me a link if you don't want to post it?
