To elaborate: From the eye, the small dog's mouth is pointed upward and is not some demonic creature's ear. A few more pixels would do well to clear this up.

The funny thing is that ours looks almost exactly like this one, and I still had a hard time making sense of the photo.
I still have to rotate it 45° and can only see it for short times
