Brave is privacy snakeoil targeting gamers and crypto-bros. I would highly suggest using something like Ironfox or even just regular firefox, but hardened manually.

Somehow Brave maintains a general reputation for privacy, but people who are serious about privacy will tell you that it’s actually pretty terrible.
