Got the think pad and used to have the socks, but no Arch. Fedora and Debian for me.

I always wondered where people get their cool stickers from, epspecially the 'niche ones' like the Lemmy/Fediverse ones. Like, I found shops for EU/Germany and maybe I'm to stingy, but I don't want to pay 50€ for 10 Stickers...

All's you need is adhesive matte paper and a printer.

Optional: Cutting machine, Inkscape, GIMP

[-] pitiable_sandwich540@feddit.org 2 points 11 months ago

Well, I have none of those (I don't even own a printer) :D

But you're right buying the sheets and printing them in a copyshop is probably cheaper than buying individual stickers.

I don't get the stickers thing.

The stickers thing has always been an "ick" for me. My friends enjoyed torturing me with this reaction to stickered laptops until I sent them a video of a person giving a talk with a massive minion sticker plastered on top of all their other stickers, to which even they were grossed out.

That said, I did have a plan to have a battle jacket made with patches like what the stickers on the laptop would be were I to attend a conference. Damn, I just realized I have attended a conference and completely forgot to follow up on that. Regret.

Some people wanna customize their machine and don't care about opsec.

I would never put stickers on my machine unless it was enough to completely cover it with hex stickers.

I have a ThinkPad but no socks that are long enough.

Think pad? Think again.

laughs in Ideapad

We have seen this meme many times, but this is our first time noticing the "plural inside" sticker.

Of course we own a crusty old sticker-emblazoned thinkpad that we keep running out of spite.
