...itsy bitsy, teeny weeny, tiny wide-eared, little kitty...

Only good for a few weeks or months at best, they get so big so quickly. And the tips will go right to the vet for all the shots and stuff anyway.

Unless his name is Toonces and there's a plan to teach him how to drive.

I see your point and raise the following counterpoint conjecture: smol kitten exists in car.🐈😸

[–] captain_aggravated@sh.itjust.works 29 points 10 months ago

Look, and I cannot stress this enough, at the little tabby kitten.

[–] Asidonhopo@lemmy.world 26 points 10 months ago (1 children)

That cat's way too small to be away from it's mother.

[–] AlligatorBlizzard@sh.itjust.works 15 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Might be the real reason the Uber driver bright it to work, seems like an okay job if you're someone who fosters orphaned kittens.

[–] NuXCOM_90Percent@lemmy.zip 18 points 10 months ago (2 children)

It really isn't.

Ignoring that someone getting jerked around by The Gig Economy won't have time to nurture a kitten, people REALLY need to properly secure pets in a car. It is fun when they are wobbling around in the back seat when you are driving around.. until you need to stop suddenly or get rear ended or have a more severe accident.

Cats are much less willing to be restrained in a harness. But there are some carriers that are designed to be properly restrained and... it still won't be good for the kitty but it will at least minimize how far they go flying.

True. Loose animals in vehicles = dead animals in an accident.

I know.

I'm sorry but you can't see anything. You don't even know what is happening in the photo and you're already angry and extrapolating. Calm down. Try assuming the best instead of the worst

You can literally see that the car is moving in the middle lane of a freeway. On top of the unsecured animal they are looking at their phone and have zero hands on the wheel because hUrRdUrR sElF dRiViNg.

[–] proudblond@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

Looks like a Tesla screen, so it’s all okay because the car is self driving.

Internet user's genius plan to garner more upvotes.

Boost engagement, inject content, and pull myself out of a slump I've been in for awhile

No hands on the wheel and looking at their phone. Fuck swasticar drivers. No, they cannot drive themselves you fucking moron.

[–] buttnugget@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Whoah hold on, are they not pulled over??!!

If you can’t make it out in the image neither can the original commenter, they just hate cars that much.

Edit you can see lines on the ground and what looks like the bumper of another car but who knows if that isn’t just a parking lot.

Many 5 stars and a few 1 star reviews when it shits in the car...

[–] fubarx@lemmy.world 9 points 10 months ago

Smart move, bringing along a human who can chat up the customer.

[–] trager_bombs@lemmy.world 9 points 10 months ago

[–] ShaggySnacks@lemmy.myserv.one 3 points 10 months ago

5 star review. Would have them as my driver again.

[–] Wispy2891@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Genius plan to distract the customer from the fact that someone that drives around people for the whole day for work is using slippers instead of proper shoes or at least a sandal with back support

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago (1 children)

what kind of lumbar support does the average boot provide?

[–] Wispy2891@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

lumbar support? I mean the back strap that keeps the sandal firm on the feet
