Prototype 1 was so much better
I swear the writers for the two Venom movies were diehard fans.
Pretty sure it's that the Prototype devs were Venom fans

I remember the plots were stupid, but i didn't care because the gameplay was so fun
Highjacking helicopters never got old.

I want to play it but the steam reviews say it's broken. Wish there was a rerelease
Wine/Proton are great for running old games that incompatible with modern Windows. Or you can emulate the PS3 version too.
Do you really have an actual gaming computer if you have Windows, though?
Yes
It runs fine on Steam Deck. I picked it up a week or two ago and have had no problems. It definitely shows it's age but runs smooth.
I played both 1 and 2 without any issues
But when will the final product be released?
The game doesn't even support modern resolutions, or does it? I played it when it came out, and remember trying to play it years later and giving up, but I don't remember why.
It was released on PS3, so I'm pretty sure it supports 720p at least. Prototype 2 graphics were a lot better, so I would say that yes you might even be able to go 4K.
