The picture shows 2x 80mm fans, mounted under a Logi G920 with a custom wheel.

I will probably implement a PWM circuit to control them.

They seem very close to the desk? Are they still working, seems like it would choke them?

No, there is space between the fans and the desk. They are actually in an angle, so that they ~~blow~~ push air a bit out of the desk, instead of straight down.

Fan grill to prevent penile injuries? The thought of The fans falling off, or standing up full mast. Is giving me anxiety. But i dunno the rpm so it might not be fast enough to cause damage.

Additionally a tube with a funnel like attachment to the fans could direct the airflow directly into your pants. If you wear pants while racing that is. no judgement.
