Ok, only the top half of this image loaded on my instance. I know the source has the whole thing, because I can see it when I view the original server.
@FediTips Is there a way to force my instance to load this from the source again? (It looks the same on both my computer and phone, so I know it's not a cache issue on my end.)

@5ciFiGirl @bunnybot @FediTips The same thing happened to me. In case it was an instance thing, I went to original instance, but still only got half of the image.
I just checked, and the entire image now loads for me here on starbase80 and on the original instance.

I just did a force refresh on my browser page, and I still only have half an image. And... we are on the same instance. π€ Weird!

Sorry. I muddled what happened. Yeah, the partial image stills shows via starbase80.

Looking at the post via starbase80 still only half loads, although I can see the whole image in your post quoting it, and on the original instance. I could only see half of it on the original instance (and via starbase80) the day it was posted.

Ah, so maybe the original server had the glitch at the time it first federated. The original has since been fixed, but our server is holding on to the first version?
And the link preview pulls it fresh.
That makes sense, I just don't know how to fix it, LOL! π
@5ciFiGirl @bunnybot @FediTips Although I've been mixed up, absolutely there was a glitch on the original server October 30th. That the image only partially loaded on the original server is something I remember clearly, lol.

And while I commented on the post right away, it was 1:30 am and I just assumed my phone didn't load it correctly, and looked at the alt text.
It wasn't until later when I looked on my computer that I realized it was more of a problem. So the original was probably fixed by the time I looked there.

So, lemmings.world had a glitch pulling the image from bluesky. That glitch then federated to starbase80.wtf, but somehow not to other servers. And lemmings.world has since corrected the error. *shrug*

FWIW, I'm seeing everything. I've never seen half an image since I noticed it.
