Found a copy of Stray hiding on an external hard drive so I've been working through that. I love hanging out with my new robot friends!

Dystopian cat simulator is best simulator.

I love this game. Glad you're having fun with it!

[–] milkytoast@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

that's such a good game

Splatoon and TOTK are gonna be my weekend I think.

[–] numbscroll@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I’m back into Splatoon again after a while away on TOTK. Two great games.

[–] Andjhostet@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago (2 children)

When TOTK came out I was scared I wasn't going to come back Splatoon. They definitely serve different experiences and I love them both. Probably my two favorite on the Switch.

[–] numbscroll@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Similar experience… glad for the break honestly, it’s made me appreciate both games more

[–] numbscroll@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

@andjhostet have you found engaging TOTK communities? Looking for something… love seeing the amazing things people build that I could never dream of

[–] Calcharger@kbin.social 6 points 1 year ago

League of Legends, Diablo 4, I'm reinstalling Silent Hunter 3 cuz I wanna sink some battleships. Command Modern Operations. One of these days I'm gonna start making Youtube Tutorials on how to play that monster of a game.

[–] Big_Boss_77@kbin.social 5 points 1 year ago

Finally worked up the courage to play Persona 5 Royale again... having an absolute blast.

The Planet Crafter, they just put out their latest update. They've added additional blueprints and another way to get the blueprints

Street Fighter 6 has become a bit of an obsession.

Diablo 4, Spider-Man: Remastered, and possibly Forza Horizon 5. PC for all.

[–] dave_baksh@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Hunt, Overwatch, Zelda, Diablo 4!

[–] Montagge@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

Seikro and AEW Fight Forever. Maybe Eldenring since I grabbed that on the steam summer sale.

[–] germanatlas@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 year ago

Arknights and maybe a round of PlateUp. I got exams coming, so I’m comparatively mild currently

[–] Wodge@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Destiny 2, Assetto Corsa Competitzione and probably some Vampire Survivors.

[–] GeekFTW@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

MTG Arena (trying to get these damn lands in the lotr event), and then probably choice paralysis between a dozen and a half games.

Then probably just play some Dwarf Fortress lol

[–] Kauhuhu@beehaw.org 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Totk, im on my 100% run and there are a lot of armors to upgrade and koroks!

[–] TheBeev@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

That’s one hell of a challenge. Good luck!

[–] Kichae@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

I'm GMing Pathfinder 2E for the 2nd time tonight. Way in over my head. Thankfully, my party isn't experienced enough to know!

[–] Limewirelord@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

Cult of the Lamb has been fun and also hilarious. Great little resource management + dungeon crawler roguelike and also adorably weird.

[–] MelenHirren@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

For me, it‘s Animal Crossing New Horizons, Road 96: Mile 0 and SongPop Party on Nintendo Switch and probably The Last Of Us 2 on PlayStation.

[–] punkskunk@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 year ago

Happy to see you mention Hunt: Showdown. That game recently broke a new record for most concurrent players, and the current wildcard “event” with the new boss and varying rain is fantastic.

[–] Ignacio@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

Dungeon Keeper (via KeeperFX), and a bit of War for the Overworld.

[–] FrostBolt@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Battlebit Remastered

Diablo 4

And, while it's not a video game, reading the Pathfinder 2e core rulebook

[–] lowdownfool@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

Trying some older games I have in my library. The Long Dark and Caves of Qud. I'm a glutton for permadeath punishment it seems.

[–] screwballll@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

Started playing with Stellaris again.
I really enjoy the game but man it’s complicated.

I'm finishing up Chicory: A Colorful Tale after I stumbled upon Wandersong earlier this year. It's basically a playable coloring book occasionally interrupted by ruminations on art, legacy, and self-worth. So that's fun. But seriously it's a great game to just throw on after a long day and just color in a few screens. For something completely different I'm also working through the COD: Cold War campaign since that dropped on PS Plus.

I finally broke down and got a PS5 to play FF16, put about 5 hours in so far and enjoying it.

Will have to check out some other PS exclusive games in the near future too (if anyone has any recommendations apart from God of War, feel free to suggest!)

Squad and Batman Arkham Knight, since I never played it and it was under £6.

[–] Phrodo_00@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Just picked up a ps2 guitar hero guitar and moded it for PC, so a lot of clone hero.

[–] Jarmer@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

for me it's a rotation of Diablo 4 on desktop and Dave the Diver on the Deck. Absolutely loving both! I'm starting to get a little weary of the d4 grind, but not enough to quit. Yet ....

[–] derskusmacher@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

FFXVI, some Battlebit with a friend, and got a couple hours of Baldur's Gate 3 in today. Looking forward to BG3 release next month and wrapping up FFXVI within the next week.

[–] Bluu@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

ToTK and Subnautica for me. Probably also some Roots of Patcha. I’m hopelessly addicted to caveman Harvest Moon.

I recently got Subnautica. I've also been really enjoying Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

[–] azn03@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Totk if I can find the time

[–] legion@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago
[–] miraih@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

TOTK and VALORANT for me

[–] Pegatron@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

EverQuest Project 1999. It's missing my favorite expansion (Luclin) but the only free server that runs that is mostly deadz whereas P99 is jamming.

I don't know what it is but EQ is just straight nostalgia for me. Whenever I'm having a rough time I can take a walk down memory lane on my druid.

[–] DarkGamer@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Elden Ring and Fallout 76

[–] Broadsword@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Diablo 4. I read somewhere that getting to 100 gets very tough past 80. Well I'm not even 50 yet, so I got some hours to put in.

[–] AWizard_ATrueStar@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

I just finished Final Fantasy XVI (loved it). Next on my ps5 I will probably make my way through Spiderman Miles Moralis, and maybe start totk on my switch.

[–] HidingCat@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

As a patient gamer, I just finished Return to Obra Dinn. It's basically a very elaborate logic puzzle rendered in a retro art-style that actually works.
