Home from a late night out with some friends. Well past my bedtime but I had much fun.

Book launch accomplished. People filled the theatre. Enjoyed a nice singalong (in latin) as part of the proceedings and some good convos with other K Greenwood fans. Also good bottled grog not cask and popcorn to munch on during the speech. Verry classy. Brunswick art scene take note please so as to lift your game.

The rain is so nice ๐Ÿ™Œ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿ™Œ

The sleep blocks are about 3ish hours with extreme tiredness when I wake up, meaning I can fall back asleep pretty quickly.

God I missed deep sleep lol

Soy fush are back!

And so are ants. Grr.

I give everyone permission to spend today sitting on their arse gaming and gobbling CC's

[โ€“] Quokka@quokk.au 4 points 9 months ago

That's really cool. I hope they make it affordable so that it catches on.

[โ€“] Eagle@aussie.zone 4 points 9 months ago (1 children)

If only... some of us get to work in the rain.

[โ€“] Taleya@aussie.zone 5 points 9 months ago

you have my permission to raincheck the permission. Literally

[โ€“] RustyRaven@aussie.zone 4 points 9 months ago

I'll take you up on the gaming, but I don't have any CC's, I'll have to substitue with something else.

Semi productive morning. Baked 2 loaves of bread, did one load of washing, argued with Miniest about why I don't feel like going out. Now feel like making popcorn and watching a movie.

Ok ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐ŸŸฉ๐Ÿฅฆโ˜˜๏ธ

First you have to play an online game with someone cool. Then you can crash.

have some bags to take op shop

[โ€“] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 7 points 9 months ago (2 children)

made and ate my breakfast, filled the dishwasher, tidied kitchen a little, fed cats brekkie, cleaned up after cats

and had awful lizard brain nightmares last night, probably the panadol I took for my back

already killed some bugs in the bedroom, now I'm looking at a big ass spider, I'm not going to call it Rocky and keep it as a pet

[โ€“] force_majeure1234@lemmy.world 8 points 9 months ago (1 children)

So productive already. I am still in bed ๐Ÿ˜ช

[โ€“] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 5 points 9 months ago

I went back to bed so I could have more nightmares ๐Ÿ˜

[โ€“] Taleya@aussie.zone 8 points 9 months ago

If you got the spider to move into the bathroom there'd be less bugs

[โ€“] RustyRaven@aussie.zone 6 points 9 months ago

More shopping to start the day off. I decided I need some decent mats to go under the offiice chair. Even though it is only used occassionally the carpet here is such poor quality it really can't manage any sort of wear at all.

[โ€“] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 6 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Good morning hungry hungry hippos

[โ€“] Bottom_racer@aussie.zone 6 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Fire is on, ham cheese and tomato toastie w/ spring onion for dins.

Throwing a heap of banksia pods on the fire that have been collected over the years from the front driveway, got me wondering what other people do w/ them.

Pretty wild!

[โ€“] imoldgreeeg@aussie.zone 3 points 9 months ago

That turned out awesome!

[โ€“] Taleya@aussie.zone 6 points 9 months ago (1 children)

What a wooonderfully lazy day

[โ€“] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

I should have stayed in myself, watched tv and done some reading

[โ€“] Taleya@aussie.zone 3 points 9 months ago (2 children)

I played some zelda, ate an entire packet of timtams, caught up on my US ghosts and kipped an arvo nap on a heated blanket with the cats. Marvellous.

[โ€“] calhoon2005@aussie.zone 5 points 9 months ago (3 children)

Gymed?! What the hell is that?

[โ€“] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 4 points 9 months ago

It's short hand for having participated at the gymnopaedia.

Seven months later and these 200g packets are New Low Price. ๐Ÿ˜€

They used to be $2.59 for the old size and now they're $2.29 for the new. I'm pretty sure they've still gone up, but I'm not going to figure it out on the phone in the aisle.

[โ€“] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 3 points 9 months ago

I was good today, I saw these at the supermarket, and I do like these, and I bought no junk food/snacks at all

[โ€“] kruetz@aussie.zone 5 points 9 months ago (1 children)

There's a small leak in our roof, and I'm hoping that two buckets in the attic space will suffice until we can get a plumber to have a look ... ๐Ÿคž

[โ€“] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 4 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago)

home now, it's cold out there, so wet and windy

have heater on now and changed into drier things

the rain and wind and my beret wore off all my make up

[โ€“] Catfish@aussie.zone 4 points 9 months ago (1 children)

A day of cultural extremes: multi part Latin to decidedly less dulcet green mowhawks inviting us to shove it up your arse if you don't like footy

Weather forcast has been updated, we are now expected to get all the way up to 10 degrees! And it's windy enough the dog door keeps blowing open and letting cold air straight into the living room. Yay Ballarat. But at least I can see cows here, I didn't have any of those near me in Melbourne.

[โ€“] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 3 points 9 months ago

Good night everyone, stay warm and sweet dreams, ๐Ÿ˜˜
