When you report a comment or a post it goes to the mods of that community, the Admins of that community, and the admins of the users home instance if it's different from the community instance.

In this case, it's hard because their sole remaining unremoved comment isn't a problem.

Might be fun to look at the modlog though:

Oh, yeah, that last comment is a problem too. 😟

If the community moderator acts in it before instance admins see it then they don't see it, right?

That I can't answer...

Maybe they just really like fastvpn

[-] andrewta@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

Please explain what they are doing wrong? I’ve scrolled through a few of their comments and I don’t see it. So they like vpn software?

Spamming it everywhere.

I like all sorts of things, but I don't plug them in every single comment I make.

Looks like they've been pretty much nuked

Thanks for sharing. I don't think there is a way unless the admins of .world ban them, but I'm no expert on any of this.

At the very least, we can call them out like you have and individually ban them from our feeds.

The way this generally works is a small mound of reports and mod actions take place, which draws admin attention and removal. There's also chat channels usually where mods can elevate to admins if they believe that a site ban is where it's heading.
