The author is a respected scholar. Jan-Werner Mueller is probably the world's best expert on populism.

universities are also destroying themselves from within the past 50 years. they are now run by MBA mentalities of the administrators who only care about lining their own own pockets, hitting metrics, and chasing US news rankings.
