Hi,

I have monerod up and running on the testnet network.

I would like to start mining, so I tried with the Monero GUI Wallet that is successfully connect to my local node ( 127.0.0.1 )

But I get

Should I run something else ? Monero CLI Wallet ?

The easiest way to mine that I have found is gupax

It also let's you adjust settings like putting in your local node URL.

For those how are facing the same issues, you can simply minning trough the monerod with --start-mining
