I’ve had good luck with it. I really like it. One thing I would say is that I use forge for hosting the server and I lock my add-ons and foundry version in for the duration of the campaign to cut down on non-sense.

Just my opinion. But foundry seems like the Linux of VTTs, if you like to tinker with things and like troubleshooting wonky issues, you will get more mileage out of it.

I can't cope with it; you always have to be careful which version you're using, because different games require different versions. Writing games yourself is very cumbersome. So far, no player has wanted to use fvtt when we've compared it with roll20.
