I really wish there was a way to start a mass migration of all the non-bots from Reddit to Lemmy.

I am a recent reddit refugee after being banned many times for speaking opinion of dear leader.. fuck reddit forever.

[-] sbbq@lemmy.zip 4 points 8 months ago

What? Unless you're in a conservative sub, you can say whatever you want about Trump on Reddit. People talk shit about him constantly there.

[-] Soulphite@reddthat.com 8 points 8 months ago

I've been banned multiple times for "harassment" and then the appeals were denied... so either they're slowly and subtly cracking down on censoring people or it's the way I word it (like i'm talking directly to the piece of shit, for instance). Who knows, Reddit sucks anyway. Soon enough they'll bend the knee.

Until you piss off a rogue mod, then not so much.

The Internet sees censorship as damage and routes around it:

Scrabble away, you rats. You can't stop the feed.

[-] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 9 points 8 months ago

More people will see it now than would have if Trump left it alone

Censor in chief

[-] grainOfSalt@sh.itjust.works 9 points 8 months ago

I think YouTube is censoring mentions of it. I saw it in my Freetube feed, probably from Brian Tyler Cohen, but it disappeared on the next refresh. The mere mention of the 60 minutes video existing and being pulled is enough for YouTube to censor apparently.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 7 points 8 months ago

LOL, good luck with THAT.
