Just got my seeds for a salsa garden this year. Starting small is exactly what I'm doing

Then the government will try to make worms and plants illegal.
I mean, if saving seeds wasn't dangerous to the powers that shouldn't be, Monsanto wouldn't have made it illegal.
It's dangerous to Monsanto's bottom line, because they rely on having a monopoly on their seeds. I'd say farmers breaking patent law is a revolutionary act! But, at least for now, the government doesn't care if you save heirloom seeds or your own cultivars.

And if your neighborhood has regulatory hurdles, infiltrate your HOA and push what is 'normal.' I am a sucker for suburban homes but the culture and landscapes are barren. Lawns are useless, biologically starved spaces that create a sanitized, monotonous aesthetic while fracturing up the natural local ecosystems.
This is actually my exact basis for a future community I was planning.
Which I wonder if it is redundant by now...
