People here straight up hate renewable energy. They vote against wind turbines and solar whenever it's on the ballot. These farmers are so deep into conspiracy theories that they go to local government meetings and say wind turbines cause brain cancer. It's been that way around NW ohio for decades now

Pretty much every town around here has lead pipes that are becoming a serious problem. Couple that with the de-industrialization that happened in the 70s and 80s, so anyone with ability got out of here back then.
