Evernote is almost dead. Also, they are as greedy as any American corporation.

Yeah fuck Evernote. My dad used it for years and then the enshitification started. Migrated everything to Joplin.

For Notion I used self hosted Trillium Notes

Obsidian is also a decent option for note-taking and LMStudio/Ollama with any model is also a good replacement for an AI chatbot.
